The Featherman Insta-Scald is the most innovative scalder on the market today! With an incredible 15-minute start-up time, our Insta-Scald heats fast and provides a consistent scald—so you can achieve that perfect finish and maybe even grab an extra hour of sleep.

The Insta-Scald holds a steady water temperature throughout your processing day, helping feathers release cleanly and efficiently. Made of 16-gauge stainless steel, the 48-gallon tank comes equipped with a portable on-demand 180° water heater that can be used anywhere on the farm, and features temperature control within a 5-degree range.

Perfectly sized to scald 4 chickens at a time, and works well for turkeys too. Birds can be hand-dunked or paired with our Manual Dunker or Automated Roto Dunker for hands-free ease.
